The Kiwanis Club of Glenwood is excited to announce a generous $18,500 donation from Glenwood State Bank to support our project to make Hiley Park handicap accessible. This contribution will help fund essential improvements such as accessible sidewalks, a firm playground surface, and inclusive facilities—ensuring that children and adults of all abilities can enjoy the park.
We are incredibly grateful for Glenwood State Bank’s continued commitment to our community. Their support brings us one step closer to making Hiley Park a place where everyone can play, connect, and thrive together.
Construction is starting at Hiley Park!!! The first step in this process is to remove the existing swings. The swings will be removed by the City of Glenwood in the next 3 weeks weather and time permitting. New swings will be installed later in the process, so Hiley Park will only be without swings for a few weeks if they are your favorite place to play. Although we ask that you avoid the playground while the Parks Department is removing the swings it is fine to enjoy the other parts of the playground and park during this phase of construction.
